Maura Colleton Corbett is the CEO and Founder of the Glen Echo Group where she leads the team’s award-winning work in telling the stories of the companies and organizations building the New Economy.
With 30 years of communications, creative, public affairs and coalition building experience, Corbett provides strategic counsel to clients faced with the complicated challenges surrounding the shift to a digital, Internet-enabled world, including AI, innovation policy, broadband deployment, emerging technologies and content-related issues including privacy, cybersecurity and copyright.
Corbett helps clients translate technologies and innovations into compelling communications vehicles that resonate with policymakers, the press and the public in order to inform forward-looking, successful policy and market outcomes. Corbett brings unique and deep-rooted experience in industry coalition building for a number of high-profile technology issues, including free speech, Net Neutrality, competition/ antitrust, as well as trust & safety. She also has done significant work in mergers and acquisitions within the communications and digital media space.
Corbett is a member of the Board of Directors for Public Knowledge, the Chamber of Progress and the GLIA Foundation, and is a frequent speaker and commentator on Internet and technology public policy, coalition building, branding and the media.
Corbett was recognized as one of the Washingtonian's 500 Most Influential in 2023 and 2022, a member of The Information's "Tech Frontline" in 2020, and was selected as WWPR's PR Woman of the Year in 2019. She received the PR Week's 2014 PR Woman of the Year and the 2010 Women in Technology Leadership Award for her demonstration of exemplary leadership skills and exceptional results in community-related work, the first WIT award ever for a woman in the public affairs industry.
Corbett is the proud mother of two marvelous daughters and one very naughty dog. In a previous life long ago, she used to moonlight as the lead singer in a rock band.

Katie Barr serves as the Glen Echo Group’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, specializing in issue advocacy, message development and coalition building. Barr manages the Glen Echo Group’s Chicago office, where she designs and implements successful public affairs campaigns to strategically position executive teams and emerging technologies in the DC market and across the nation.
Prior to joining Glen Echo, Barr served as a Director at Qorvis Communications where she represented clients specializing in public relations, grassroots and issue advocacy and social media communications. She also spent time at Trippi & Associates where she learned under the tutelage of one of the nation’s premier political consultants, Joe Trippi, providing multimedia and strategic communications for progressive political, nonprofit and corporate campaigns.
Barr graduated from Brown University with degrees in Political Science and Public Policy and American Institutions. A Chicago native and lifelong Cubs fan, Barr is proudly flying the W in the Windy City, where she serves as a mentor at 1871, Chicago's home for entrepreneurship and technology, and Impact Engine, a Chicago-based venture fund.

Amy Schatz serves as a Senior Vice President at the Glen Echo Group. She helps clients with media outreach, strategic communications planning and content creation.
Before joining Glen Echo Group, Amy served as Vice President of Media Affairs at USTelecom, a trade association representing broadband providers and equipment makers. A veteran journalist with more than 15 years experience, Amy served as an editor at Politico, tech news site Recode and spent more than a decade as a reporter for The Wall Street Journal.
Amy grew up in central Indiana and received a B.S. in Music and Journalism from Indiana University. She earned a Master of Business Administration from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. She lives in Alexandria, where she spends most weekends chasing after her young daughter and their cockapoo puppy.

Prior to joining the Glen Echo Group, Anne worked for AMGA where she managed a diabetes communications campaign that helped improve care for more than one million Americans.
A native Washingtonian, Anne graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in political science and earned her master’s in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University. Prior to joining Glen Echo, Brad was a director at Pinkston where he used his strategic communications skills to help individuals, corporations and non-profits tell their stories and leverage positive earned and owned media coverage.
While attending the University of Portland, Brad interned for both the Department of State and the Association for Diplomatic Studies and Training in Washington, DC. He also studied at American University as part of their Washington Semester program on international relations.
A native of Massachusetts, Brad is an unabashed life-long Red Sox and Patriots fan. He currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia with his family.

Davey McKissick is a vice president at the Glen Echo Group, where he works with clients of all sizes to craft and execute full-service public affairs campaigns -- including coalition leadership, earned and paid media strategy/analysis and navigating an increasingly partisan federal political environment.
He was previously a director at Forbes Tate Partners, where he provided national and regional communications and built advocacy campaigns on legislative issues for business, nonprofit, advocacy and political organizations. Davey is a veteran Democratic campaign professional, having worked for Hillary for America, the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia and the 2012 Obama-Biden re-election at the Democratic National Committee. He has also volunteered for several campaigns at the state and federal levels supporting Democrats in Virginia, where he both grew up and studied at the College of William & Mary.
In his free time, you can find him obsessing over his nephews, traveling with his partner and playing with any dog in proximity.

As a vice president at the Glen Echo Group, Rachel helps clients develop their global third party engagement through coalition building, strategic communications and public policy campaigns.
Prior to joining Glen Echo, Rachel was the Head of Global Engagement for Meta's Oversight Board where she created the organization's communications and engagement strategy. Previously, she has worked for the Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications and Information Administration as an Internet Policy Specialist, as the Policy Director for Engine Advocacy, on Capitol Hill as Counsel for Congressman Blake Farenthold, a member of the House Judiciary Committee and as Director at TwinLogic Strategies.
After receiving her BA from The George Washington University, Rachel graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she continues to be an Adjunct Professor managing the Journal of Law, Technology and the Internet. In 2023, Rachel accepted a Fulbright Award in New Zealand where she wrote a report on the future of the Christchurch Call to Action and how to build multistakeholder initiatives to address content moderation challenges. In her free time, Rachel is an avid golfer, Swiftie and hosts a podcast about Game of Thrones.

Andrea O’Neal is a senior director with Glen Echo Group. A dedicated and driven communicator, she has experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and moving between long-term, big-picture planning to detail-oriented, day-to-day operations.
Previously, Andrea was the senior manager of communications for National Geographic Society’s Impact Programs, elevating projects and partnerships aimed at expanding scientific discoveries, educating the public on the extinction crisis and conserving some of the planet’s last wild places.
Prior to that role, Andrea was an account supervisor on the public affairs & crisis team for Burson Cohn and Wolfe, the third-largest PR agency in the world. As a mid-level executive, Andrea was responsible for specializing in reputation management, and providing strategic counsel for Fortune 100 companies. In times of crisis, she helped with crisis resistance, readiness, response and recovery.
Andrea has experience in positioning executives and campaigns within the Washington, DC landscape—particularly through the use of events. She has successfully helped support the media components of strategic communications campaigns for a broad range of global brands, establishing relationships with targeted media and working to place clients into top-tier and local publications. She has an affinity for diversity and inclusion efforts, and has pulled together initiatives to champion minority communities and amplify corporate community work.

Before joining Glen Echo Group, she was Director of Communications for ACT | The App Association, where she led communications strategy on policy issues affecting small business app developers, such as privacy and security, competition, and intellectual property.
Ashley’s career spans a wide range of experience, including policy communications for the video games industry, autonomous driving, and two U.S. Supreme Court cases.
Ashley holds a B.A. in public relations from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She is a former roller derby player, cool auntie to two nephews, and proud parent of an 8-year-old chiweenie named Carmine.

Prior to joining the team, Dani was an Account Manager at DC-based Subject Matter, where she developed and executed strategic communications and marketing campaigns for security, real estate and economic development clients.
Previously, she held positions with Inkhouse, a public relations firm in Boston, where she worked with clients in the cybersecurity, defense and higher education fields. She’s also worked as a communications intern for the Atlantic Council in Washington, DC.
Dani graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a degree in communication, and government and politics. Originally from the Philadelphia area, you can usually find Dani on the salsa dance floor or exploring local trails with her husband Jacob and dog Cash.

Lauren Gaydos is a Senior Director at the Glen Echo Group. Prior to joining Glen Echo, Lauren worked for NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association, where she oversaw media and public relations strategies for the association.
At NTCA, Lauren ran successful policy messaging campaigns and developed storytelling resources for member companies. She also spent several years on Capitol Hill, most recently as communications director for Rep. Brett Guthrie, a senior member of the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
A Chicago-area native, Lauren moved to DC for her undergraduate degree at the Catholic University of America, and she earned her master's degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University. When she's not working, Lauren enjoys reading and running, often at the same time thanks to the magic of audiobooks.

Catherine Williams, known to most as ‘Wren,’ serves as one of the Glen Echo Group’s senior directors, specializing in branding and content creation.
Prior to joining Glen Echo, Wren served as a senior creative content manager at the Internet Association, where she led social media efforts, managed the creation of visual and video assets and aided in organizing strategic, issue-based campaigns. In her spare time, she can be found painting murals or creating chalk art.
Wren graduated from the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities before getting her degree in Media Arts from the University of South Carolina.

Prior to joining the Glen Echo Group, he worked for a range of PR, media and advocacy organizations. Connor served as a social media director for the U.S. office of an International NGO. He also served as a deputy communications director for an elected official in New York. Additionally, Connor has held positions at the DC-based comms firm Precision Strategies, CBS News and worked as an intern on Capitol Hill.
Connor graduated cum laude from the School of Media and Public Affairs at The George Washington University with a degree in Political Communication. A native New Yorker, he struggles with being a Mets fan and loves to travel.

Her experience spans local, state, national, and international as well as owned, earned, and paid campaigns and initiatives.
Kelsey grew up across the Midwest and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Political Broadcast Journalism from Indiana's DePauw University. She moved to DC shortly after college, but recently moved into Virginia's Shenandoah mountains with her husband and two dogs.

Tiffany Garcia is a Senior Associate at the Glen Echo Group. She works with a variety of interesting clients involved in the virtual reality, cybersecurity and broadband industries, assisting with policy advocacy, research and media outreach.
Prior to joining the Glen Echo Group, Tiffany worked with the firm as an intern, where her interest in all things tech and tech policy grew. She’s previously worked in many areas of the communications industry including on political campaigns, in newsrooms and on the ground grassroots movements. Before joining GEG, she successfully managed two local political campaigns in her hometown of Santa Barbara, California.
Tiffany graduated from the George Washington University with a degree in Political Communication in June 2022. When she’s not at work, you can find Tiffany hiking, biking or reading in her hammock around DC.

Halley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Appalachian State University, with a minor in Judaic, Holocaust, and Peace Studies. In her spare time, Halley enjoys listening to Taylor Swift, savoring a cup of coffee, and spending time with her friends and cats, Sweetie and George.

Maha is an Associate at the Glen Echo Group, assisting clients with strategic communications, policy advising, and media relations. Before joining as an Associate, Maha was a fellow with Glen Echo, where her interest in technology policy and communications grew.
Previously, Maha worked at a local political consulting firm where she advised multiple clients on government relations and voter outreach, as well as holding several management roles on political campaigns for school boards, city councils, and Congress. She has worked extensively in policy for public university students, campaign strategy, and local advocacy.
Maha graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2023 with a degree in International Relations and a minor in History, where she participated in multiple research projects spanning from international law violations to the political incorporation of women. As a California native, you can find Maha on the weekends exploring DC’s restaurants, museums and history.
Isabela Kent

Isabela Kent is an Associate at Glen Echo Group, joining the firm in fall 2023 as part of the broadband team. She is eager to work at the intersection of technology policy, public affairs and coalition building at a pivotal time for tech in Washington.
Prior to Glen Echo, Isabela interned with Cornerstone Government Affairs and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which informed her interest in public affairs and communications. She also worked as an administrative and research assistant at Syracuse University’s Center for Policy Research while completing her education.
Isabela earned both a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Studies from the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs at Syracuse University, where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Outside of work, she enjoys binge watching episodes of The West Wing (predictable, she knows), keeping up with SU basketball and trying different coffee shops in her new DC neighborhood.

Colin Bortner

Colin Bortner is a senior advisor with Glen Echo Group, where he helps clients navigate issues in the technology, media, and telecommunications space and engage in the US, EU, and globally.
Previously, Colin led public policy and government affairs for Netflix in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), based out of the company's headquarters in Amsterdam. In that role, he established Netflix's presence in Brussels and EU member states and developed relationships with policymakers and diverse stakeholders, including industry and civil society partners, to shape the development and implementation of EU policies consistent with Netflix's business priorities.
Prior to relocating to Europe, Colin led public policy and government affairs for Netflix's waves of international expansions and was a key advisor to Netflix's C-suite on censorship requests and managing communication around them. He also played a central role in Netflix's exploration of partnerships with state owned enterprises and other market players in China, including regular on-the-ground work in Beijing and elsewhere.
Most recently, Colin co-founded Ivy Natal, a California-based biotechnology startup that is applying CRISPR and machine learning to eliminate age-related declines in women's fertility. He formed and served as the company's first CEO, and led its fundraising, operations, and the recruitment of its staff, partners, and advisors. He recently transitioned to an advisor role for the company, which is continuing with its R&D agenda.
Colin began his career in Washington, DC as a paid intern for the US House of Representatives' Committee on Homeland Security, chaired by Congressman Bennie Thompson of Mississippi. He is a graduate of the University of Rochester with degrees in mathematics and linguistics.

Lori is the HR generalist at the Glen Echo Group. She wears many hats in her role, from admin and scheduling superhero to cruise director.
Lori is a military spouse and proud mom of two. She has moved too many times to count, but now lives in the DC area and has been with the Glen Echo team since 2018. She earned her B.A. in organizational management at Ashford University with an emphasis on education from Northern Arizona University and secured her certification from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP).
When she’s not in the office, Lori enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending theatre shows, and trying new restaurants in the area.
