Maura Colleton Corbett
President and Founder
Maura Colleton Corbett brings nearly 20 years of communications, media, public affairs, and coalition building experience to the Glen Echo Group. Corbett provides strategic counsel to clients faced with complicated issues affecting the high-technology industry, including Internet competition, wireless technologies, broadband deployment and applications, and content-related policy issues including privacy, security, and copyright. Corbett also has significant experience in energy reform and renewables, particularly related to smart grid deployment. She has represented clients before various levels of government, including the United States Congress, Federal Communications Commission and the U.S. Department of Commerce/National Telecommunications Information Administration, and extensively with members of the press. In addition, Corbett brings unique and deep-rooted experience in industry coalition building for a number of high-technology matters, most recently, white spaces, Internet radio, broadband competition, and copyright reform for the digital age. She also has done extensive work in mergers and acquisitions in the communications and digital media industries.
Corbett is a member of the Board of Directors for Public Knowledge, and an Advisory Board Member of the Mobile Alliance for Global Good (MAGG). She is a frequent speaker and commentator on Internet public policy, coalition building, and the media.
Corbett was awarded the Grassroots Campaign of the Year in 2007, Public Affairs Agency of the Year, in 2008, and the Glen Echo Group was recently honored with the PRSA Silver Anvil award for the 2012 Public Affairs Campaign of the Year.
Corbett received the 2010 Women in Technology Leadership Award for her demonstration of exemplary leadership skills and exceptional results in community-related work, the first WIT award ever for a woman in the public affairs industry.
A proud New Jersey native, Corbett graduated from the University of Notre Dame and used to moonlight as the lead singer in a band.

Katie Barr
Vice President
Katie Barr serves as the Glen Echo Group’s Vice President, specializing in issue advocacy, message development and coalition building.
Prior to joining the Glen Echo Group, Barr served as a Director at Qorvis Communications, LLC, where she represented client teams specializing in public relations, grassroots advocacy, issue advocacy, and social media communications. During her time at Qorvis, Barr was responsible for managing a wide variety of clients including Fortune 500 companies, international nonprofit organizations, and nationwide public affairs campaigns.
As an associate at Trippi & Associates, Barr learned under the tutelage of one of the nation’s premier political consultants, Joe Trippi, providing multimedia and strategic communications for progressive political, nonprofit, and corporate campaigns.
Barr graduated from Brown University with Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Political Science and Public Policy and American Institutions and served as the captain of the Brown women’s basketball team. Hailing from the Windy City, she is Chicago sports enthusiast and long-suffering Cubs fan.

Jake DiGregorio
Director, Creative Services
Jake DiGregorio is the Glen Echo Group Director of Creative Services, specializing in the creation and delivery of online and new media strategies to serve client needs. His background in broadcast, print, and web content production for organizations such as PBS, the Express, and the WashingtonPost.com gives him a unique creative outlook on integrated communications strategy.
Prior to joining the Glen Echo Group, DiGregorio was an Associate at Qorvis Communications, LLC, where he worked to develop cutting edge multimedia strategy and deliver top quality products to clients such as Cisco, Adobe, and PhRMA.
In his free time, Jake enjoys volunteering, running marathons, reading military history books, and wondering why he spends so much time doing such things.
DiGregorio is a graduate of the School of Media and Public Affairs at the George Washington University, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Eric Shu
Associate
As an associate at Glen Echo Group, Eric Shu offers public relations support for a number of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies and trade associations to technology startups. Shu provides clients with strategic planning, media and public relations, social media communications, event management and writing and research support.
Working across integrated accounts, Shu helps develop collateral for issue advocacy campaigns and corporate accounts. In addition, he has experience in event planning at various large commercial and government venues.
Prior to joining Glen Echo Group, Shu worked as a Research Assistant at the Middle East Institute where he was responsible for drafting briefing documents on issues paramount to the Institute’s mission including international security, peace-building, and democratization. Additionally, his experiences on Capitol Hill and in the US Foreign Commercial Service provide him with a unique perspective on policymaking and implementation.
Shu has also worked as a middle school teacher in rural Louisiana where he managed relationships between parents, school officials, and community members to develop a united front in elevating students to academic success.
Having lived and worked in Japan, South Korea, China, and Taiwan, Shu brings to the team a high level of cultural competency, critical in developing communication strategies and messaging campaigns.
Shu hails from the Lone Star State and has trained, competed, and coached Taekwondo at the national level. In his free time, he trains for triathlons and pretends to play the ukulele.
Shu is a graduate of Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations.
