Washington, DC, August 2, 2017 – Glen Echo Group is pleased to announce that Maura Corbett, founder and CEO, has been named a finalist for CEO of the Year for the 2017 PR News Platinum PR Awards. Glen Echo Group is also a finalist for the Pro Bono award for their work with NGO Reporters Without Borders/Reporters Sans Frontieres.

Corbett is one of four finalists, and the only woman, vying for the top honor this year. The other finalists are Dan Amos, FleishmanHillard, Paul Comfort, Maryland Transit Administration and Sean Connolly, Conagra Brands. Winners will be announced September 14, 2017 in New York City.
