Quickly Growing Glen Echo Group Adds Five to Award-Winning Team

Washington, D.C., September 27, 2021 – Award-winning creative communications firm Glen Echo Group announced today that Christopher Shannon, Davey McKissick, Neville Martin, Doris Sump and Lama Mohammed have joined the company.

Christopher Shannon joins the Glen Echo Group as creative director, leading the agency’s design and creative team. Previously he led teams at Omnicom agency GMMB as Lead Creative Technologist and served as Creative Director for a set of clients including a wide range of technology companies, progressive policy originations and political candidates. “I am excited to bring my many years of creative and leadership experience to the Glen Echo Group. I am looking forward to growing our creative practice and providing innovative novel storytelling solutions for our clients,” he said.

Davey McKissick joins the Glen Echo Group as a senior director. He was previously a Director at Forbes Tate Partners, where he built national and regional communications and advocacy campaigns on legislative issue priorities for business, nonprofit, advocacy coalition and political organization clients. “I am excited to join the dynamic team at the Glen Echo Group — continuing the fast-paced growth of the firm as it enters its second decade,” said McKissick. “I look forward to working with our client partners on the policies and ideas changing our world."

Neville Martin joins the Glen Echo Group as the director of finance. He joined from Delucchi Plus, a branding and marketing firm in D.C., where he previously served as Assistant Controller. When Delucchi Plus joined forces with Streetsense Consulting Neville focused on data integrity, project profitability, resource planning and project reporting. “I am thrilled to be joining the Glen Echo Group at such an exciting time, as the company celebrates 11 years of successful growth,” he said. “I am also looking forward to working with the talented team and leading and scaling the finance department’s processes and procedures to keep up with that growth, here at the Glen Echo Group.”

Doris Sump joins the Glen Echo Group as a senior associate following her work at the International Downtown Association, the Jesuit Conference and Mercury Public Affairs. “It's an honor to contribute to telecom and tech communications with the Glen Echo Group, and I hope to support both new and existing opportunities making an impact in this industry,” Sump said.

Lama Mohammed was hired as an associate after graduating from American University and completing a fellowship at the Glen Echo Group. She will continue to build and work on policy and communications within cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality and the digital divide. “It is a dream of mine to have a career at the intersection of policy and technology. I am honored that the Glen Echo Group helped launch this career through my fellowship, and will continue to support it as an Associate. I am excited for the future of my career in the technology policy space with this amazing organization through supporting campaigns and clients that are advancing technology for good.”
