Glen Echo Group Adds Media Veteran Amy Schatz; Promotes Creative Lead, Catherine Dillingham

Washington, D.C., January 8, 2018 –​ Award-winning strategic communications firm Glen Echo Group announced today that former media veteran Amy Schatz has joined the firm as a Director.

Schatz, who brings over 15 years of industry experience as a reporter, blogger and editor, holds a MBA in marketing and corporate strategy. She joins the Glen Echo Group from USTelecom, where she was the Vice President of Media Affairs, providing strategic communications advice on issues ranging from robocalls and cybersecurity to closing the digital divide. Prior to USTelecom, Schatz served in key reporting and editing positions with Politico, Recode and the Wall Street Journal, where she covered telecommunications and technology policy for 10 years. She was also a political blogger during the 2006 election cycle and a campaign embed during the 2008 presidential election. In addition to an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, Schatz earned a double major in journalism and music at Indiana University.

Glen Echo Group also announced today that creative lead, Catherine Dillingham, has been promoted to Director, where she will continue to build and expand the firm’s creative offerings. Dillingham previously served as Senior Creative Content Manager at the Internet Association and graduated from the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities before receiving her degree in Media Arts from the University of South Carolina.
